No. MrBeans is designed for people who want results without learning complicated software. If you can choose photos and tap buttons, you can create professional-looking videos.
Can I use my own music?
Not yet. We provide 5 licensed music tracks specifically chosen to work well with photo montages. Custom music is on our roadmap.
Do recipients need the app?
No. Recipients just tap the email and watch on the web with a secure link. The iOS app is only for creating and scheduling videos.
How long are montages?
Montages range from 24-72 seconds depending on: (12 or 24 photos) × (2 or 3 seconds per slide). Plus optional title page and end card add a few more seconds.
What video formats can I concatenate?
Any videos from your iPhone Photos library. Each clip can be up to 90 seconds, and you can combine 2-3 clips into one video.
Is my video compressed?
Yes. We transcode for fast, reliable playback while maintaining quality that looks great on phones and laptops.
Can families share a quota?
Yes. The Family plan pools 90 messages/month across all members. Everyone sees the same shared usage bar.
How do I add captions to photos?
When creating a montage, tap any photo thumbnail to add a custom caption. It will appear as overlay text on that slide in the final video.
